Schools’ Essay Competition 2025
Schools’ Essay Competition
Every year, the CLC runs an essay competition for secondary school students. There are two age categories: junior (years 10 and 11) and senior (years 12 and 13). The questions cover both arts and culture, and politics and society. They can be answered about any country or language - and indeed in any language. The essays are marked by Cambridge academics, making the competition an excellent addition to personal statements. Our aim is to inspire future language students and encourage entrants to broaden their horizons beyond the English-speaking world.
See you in Spring 2026!
